Rob Greany : "Mari Cuci Tangan " Girls

Building Strong Ties Posted 30th September 2010
One of the real keys for the success of any organization lies in its forging strong and open relationships.
HSI has already made some great friends here in Indonesia. Let me tell you about one such relationship we have with a primary school and 6 young ladies.
As many of you remember that back in August we went to a local studio to record “Mari Cuci Tangan” our song to teach children about the importance of washing hands. We were very fortunate to have the help of 6 young ladies from SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga (Ebeneazer Christian primary school in Salatiga) who sung their hearts out for the two hour recording session.

Six Very Special Young Ladies
The girls were Ruth Fumiko, Bunga Alodia, Reina Sabia Listya, Amelia Syaloom Adrijanto, Fiorentina Desmonda Tabita and Nadia6 Putri Nastiti. We were also very thankful to have the help of Eriyani Tenga Lunga and Natalis Sidanta the children’s choir teachers and of course the blessing of the school principal Marmini Estiningsih, S.Pd.
The young ladies arrived at the studio very well rehearsed and ready to record thanks to the dedication and hard work of their choir teachers. Pak Novy from the studio was also a great blessing to us that day and managed to sort out all of the minor technical issues.

We All Have Something To Give
I think for me it’s been great to see the willingness with which these young ladies and their leaders have been ready to help the children of Indonesia. I think it’s a healthy reminder to us all that even if we may not necessarily have a lot of money to give we can always give something. I believe this little group has given something great and Health Songs International is very thankful that we’ve been able to be part of the giving.

Thanks Ladies for
Saving Lives With A Song
